Drawings are at once the heartbeat, the bones, the musculature, and the spirit of all art. Drawings constitute a unique language for each artist, and the viewer is privileged to glimpse the skeletal elements of the art process first-hand. Drawings are personal: they reveal , they are intended as notes, they are a means to an end, and they represent the embryo of genius...the moment of an artist's truth.

Trouble
As iron is eaten by rust, so are the envious consumed by envy.
-Antisthenes
So consumed by their bitter feelings towards the hares' incessant winning of the annual marathon, the turtles decided it was time to even the playing field. Envious justice, this day, was administered in the form carrots injected with C2 plastic explosives. Needless to say, this was to cause a great deal of trouble for the winners' post-game garden party later that day.

The panoramic display frames the surrealism nicely. The envy theme carried out with turtles and carrots is such a unique recipe. Do they get along in real life?
