Homage

We should all pay homage to our service men and women, past, present and future. Although I personally object to war, I still try to find time to appreciate the efforts of those who have dedicated their lives to the cause. The real homage should be paid to the families of such men and women.

A most honorable tribute indeed. Beautiful, beautiful pencil work. I really like how you've let the stars fade out. Love it.

Beautiful drawing! I couldn't agree more.

I thought it was a homage to America, until I read your text. I wish I had thought of this idea and painted men in uniforms or their families. Will file that away for a later topic.

Great job!

You did the folds very nice. May I offer a little critique? When you scan it, bump up the contrast a little bit, then we can really enjoy the colors and shadows.

Wow, this one looks familiar, but truly suiting. I think all students should at least STAND and acknowledge the symbol and pay respect, yet evey morning I find a fainting goat 2'n with 'em up because it's easier to sit and be itchy later...

Great illustration! Love the coloration and feeling it portrays. Your homage is most honorable and echo my sentiments too. Thanks.

Excellent choice of an idea for this topic. Drawing is beautifully composed and executed. The subtleties of the fading stars and the one red blood line is brilliant. Thank you for honoring our troops.
