Drawings are at once the heartbeat, the bones, the musculature, and the spirit of all art. Drawings constitute a unique language for each artist, and the viewer is privileged to glimpse the skeletal elements of the art process first-hand. Drawings are personal: they reveal , they are intended as notes, they are a means to an end, and they represent the embryo of genius...the moment of an artist's truth.

Tattoo
Patiently waiting for his captor to return, Cupid not only eluded his shackles, but fashioned a bow and one arrow out of the rotting tree stump from which he was bound. Knowing he had but only one opportunity to secure a successful escape, he fired a well placed shaft into the back of the heartless soldier. Into the empty sky flew Cupid, leaving nothing to the his captor but bewilderment and a well-crafted tattoo, carved into the lowly dying tree, that today, so ironically saved his life.

very good. I like the way you use lines to their full potential
Gorgeous drawing and clever spin on Cupid. Your lines are so sketchy and yet in sum they give the overall polished effect of the perfected, finished work. Nice!
Your drawings are superb! Incredible work!
Beautiful work.
