Drawings are at once the heartbeat, the bones, the musculature, and the spirit of all art. Drawings constitute a unique language for each artist, and the viewer is privileged to glimpse the skeletal elements of the art process first-hand. Drawings are personal: they reveal , they are intended as notes, they are a means to an end, and they represent the embryo of genius...the moment of an artist's truth.

Hide (Part II)
The woods can be a scary place. This would look like a very comfortable hiding / resting place for a weary traveler in need of solace for the evening.
Here is another rendering that I concurrently worked on for this week's word. The hands-on part was done in the same fashion as my other composition, but the colors here were added with digital transparent layers using my mac.

Now here's another beauty I missed. Some weeks get away from me I guess. I, too, did roots for 'hide.'
